The Aptiv Foundation Inc. was established in 1999 as an independent, non-profit organization underscoring Aptiv’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. Our philanthropic approach aligns with our business objectives around the world, while helping the communities in which Aptiv operates. The foundation seeks to connect and support women, minorities and diverse groups through education — primarily in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) — and non-profit events.

Our Initiatives
Global Giving
After two powerful earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria on Feb. 6, 2023, the Aptiv Foundation partnered with Global Giving to support emergency responders and provide food, clean water, medicine and shelter for earthquake survivors. Similarly, in response to the war in Ukraine, the Aptiv Foundation established a fund to support Ukrainians in need, with a focus on the most vulnerable, such as children and the elderly. FIRST
The Aptiv Foundation is one of FIRST’s founding sponsors. Since the start of our partnership in 2001, we have contributed more than $2 million to support FIRST events, mentor-based programs, competitions and alumni scholarships that inspire youth of all ages to become science and technology leaders and innovators.
