Our modern software platform improves updatability, drives flexibility, and enables lifecycle management. All variants leverage a service-based software architecture with open APIs between containers to increase modularity.
Gen 6 ADAS Core
FOUNDATIONAL FEATURE SET
Gen 6 ADAS Core provides safety and automation features up to Level 2. The Core variant fulfills regulatory requirements and is comprised primarily of interventional support features, with limited continuous-support features.

Gen 6 ADAS Plus builds upon Core, offering a pre-integrated full ADAS system with hardware and software, delivering up to L2+ automation on highways, reducing driver fatigue with hands-off and feet-off driving in specific conditions, and a dedicated ADAS domain controller to ensure system reliability.

High Performance and Strong Value
Our first-generation ADAS on the Jeep Grand Cherokee was one of three high-content Aptiv systems to earn top marks in a recent independent, third-party study. The study included both qualitative and quantitative assessments of multiple aspects of the system, including lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and HMI performance. The Jeep system scored the highest in multiple categories and was specifically highlighted for its strong value — delivering consistently high performance at a more affordable price point.
